Busy is as busy does...

Busy, busy, busy! I have almost all my Christmas shopping done and most of my wrapping done. I still have one gift and several stocking stuffers left to buy. I hope to finish that up today.

I finished the Irish Hiking Scarf a few weeks ago. Scott says it's wonderfully warm and not itchy at all. Here are a couple of pictures of the finished product.

After the holidays, I'd like to do another one in either Cascade 220 or Patons Classic Merino.

Not much knitting going on except for a skateboarder hat for a nephew. It's from a free Bernat pattern that I found in a magzine. I'm doing it in Woolease denim twist. I'm working on the decreases so it won't take much longer.

The Beribboned Eyelet sweater has been put on the back burner. For one thing, I think the gauge is too big. And I just didn't have time to work on it during the KAL. After the holidays, I hope to get back to it. I may finish the purple one even if it is more toddler-sized. Then try one in lighter yarn on smaller needles.

I am also supposed to be doing a counted cross-stitch breadcloth as part of a gift. The pattern I really like will take too long to do so I'm going to do a quick one. I haven't x-stitched in a long time. It should be fun to do.

Well, if I'm going to finish up my shopping today, I'd better go get ready. If I don't post before Christmas, have a very nice holiday everyone!

Your IHS came out gorgeous! I love that green color. I have worked on mine a bit here and there, but would really like to finish it up soon (next week or so) to give to my BIL during Chanukah. I saw one that had been blocked, and I think I might at least wash mine and see if I can stretch it out just a bit so it will be more flexible. So glad your DH loves his!
