Little Brown Wren Socks

These are my April socks for SAM 2009. They are plain brown socks hence the name "Little Brown Wren" socks. But they are 90% Shetland Wool/10% Mohair so they will keep a baby in Afghanistan warm.

Pattern: Playful Pairs by Diane Soucy found in Babies & Toddlers - A Knitter's Dozen
Yarn: Bernat Dundee in Norse Brown
Needles: US 4 (3.50 mm)

Here we have a basket of dishcloths that I made for Ariane and Mike's new house. We went to Rochester this weekend to help them move in and I wanted to make her a quick housewarming gift. There are actually a dozen cloths in the basket but I only took a quick picture so they aren't all showing. I'll try to post pictures of them all one of these days.

And that's it for today. I have other things to post but I'm tired so they will have to wait.
