Winter blahs
This post has been sitting in drafts since February 8th. That's over a month. Guess I haven't been in a blogging mood. So this is going to be a quick little post and hopefully, I'll be inspired to post more soon.
This hat is from "Knit with Deborah Norville". I bought it at Hobby Lobby. The pattern is one of the reasons I bought the book. The other reason is a cute baby jacket that I haven't tried yet.
The yarn is Patons Merino. In the pattern, the hat is knit flat on two needles. I subtracted 2 stitches and knit it in the round. The first time I photographed the hat, I had it on inside out. It looks good both ways.
Here are the mittens from the last post all finished. I think they turned out quite well.
Last but not least is a pair of plain vanilla socks I made for myself.
The yarn is from Fat Cat Knits and is soft and warm. I posted the link last time, I believe. I also made another pair from Ginny's yarn to give to a friend.
That's it for now. Next post I'll show a few more things I've finished.
